Made up of several key team members, our expertise includes extensive experience selling in a wide variety of industries, including software and networking, telecom, insurance, healthcare, financial services, and professional business services (e.g., advertising/marketing communications, consulting).
Richard Gaumer - Founder
Richard Gaumer is a serial entrepreneur. An independent executive management consultant for many years, in the early 70s he founded and built Clador, Inc., a company that developed prototype food processing and handling equipment for the seafood industry. In 1984, Gaumer founded Resource Management Group, a national consulting firm that helped companies like Hadco Corporation and Carando foods with their process improvements and reengineering efforts. And when Gaumer heard from a colleague, "I’ve got selling to do- I need to be calling on prospects, not scheduling appointments,” he shifted his focus to streamlining the B2B appointment-setting process, and his third company was born. ^top
Dorothy Gaumer- CEO/Founder

Dorothy keeps everyone focused on continuing to build and sustain SLC’S successful revenue model. Starting her career in math education, Dorothy also worked in accounting and finance, holding positions at Central Savings Bank and Mass Bank in Massachusetts. Dorothy has guided SLC Global from startup to success, developing financial controls, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, maximize profitability, and ensure customer and employee satisfaction. In addition to her work at SLC, Dorothy volunteers at her church, where she is Treasurer; at Habitat for Humanity where her house painting efforts have helped speed up several families’ move-in dates; and at the Middlesex Shelter, where meals are prepared for those less fortunate. ^top
Edward J. Scollin - VP of Sales

As the VP of Sales, Edward is a leader with over 10 years of global sales management experience. He joined SLC in August of 2000 and is responsible for establishing overall strategic direction and business development. He has successfully exceeded goals in high growth, rapidly evolving markets including but not limited to professional services, IT services, software, high-tech, marketing and advertising. His experience lies in working with both entrepreneurial and Fortune 1000 companies, as well as selling into Fortune 500 companies and mid-market organizations. Serving as the Director of Sales early on at SLC enabled him to produce and implement powerful business plans to help optimize inside and outside sales teams. Our clients appreciate his ability to define, measure, and improve departmental performance in an efficient and cost-effective manner. He thrives on ensuring that SLC is delivering the "total experience" and utmost "quality" of service to our clients. Edward is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. ^top
Bill Winter - General Manager

Bill started his career in electronics with IBM Corp in Poughkeepsie, NY, and moved on with other IBM employees to form Storage Technology Corp, a start-up data storage company located in Louisville, CO. With the desire to start his own company, he moved back to the east coast and in 1991 founded Electronic System Packaging (ESP), a successful printed circuit board design center that did the engineering design, fabrication and assembly of high speed circuit boards for the electronics industry. After ten years of success and growth ESP was purchased by a contract manufacturing company by the name of MSL. Bill ventured into real estate development, converting multi-story brownstones into condos in the Portsmouth, NH, area prior to joining SLC. ^top
Michael Coutu - VP of Operations

As the head of Operations, Michael Coutu oversees the Operations Team and their interaction with the key members of our clients' organizations, striving to maintain an open and ongoing dialogue. He helps with explaining our process to our clients and answering questions about how we can make our partnerships better by working on a daily basis to ensure smooth execution. Michael thrives on making certain that SLC is delivering the highest quality of service to our clients. He comes with a strong background in technology, having also worked with the IS department, focusing on overall strategic planning and personnel management. Prior to joining SLC, Michael held related positions at Dynamics Research Corporation, Cohesion, Inc., and Ballantyne, Inc.^top

Don McAndrew manages our quality department. He ensures that every facet of your program meets SLC’s high quality standards. A U.S. Army veteran, Don spent 20 years in advertising sales with Penton Publishing and Gulf Publishing before starting his own direct mail advertising business in 1995. Before joining SLC he was Supervisor of Outbound Sales at Serif Software. ^top
